Hi All,
Here is a new version of PSP7800 the Atari 7800 console emulator !
Special thanks to Carpy for his help and source code patches !
For those who haven't seen previous versions, ProSystem is the best emulator
of Atari 7800 game console, running on Windows system.
It has been written by Greg Stanton, see http://home.comcast.net/~gscottstanton for details.
What's new in version 1.1.3 :
- Sound improvement, new prosystem.dat file & NTSC Palette fix by Carpy (aka Danno)
- A thumbnail image is now displayed in the file requester while selecting any file
with the same name of a previously saved game.
It might be very helpful to recognize that game later if you have thousand
different games in your rom folder !
- Auto-fire uses now the key mapped as Cross button instead of FIRE1
(games such as Xevious use FIRE2 for fire so it is better this way)
- In the emulator menu you can go directly to keyboard and settings
menu using the L-Trigger key.
- Fix IR keyboard issue with fw >= 3.80 for FAT PSP
- Fix random black screen issue
- Bug fix in the low battery watchdog
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.
You can find it here : http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/
Enjoy,
Zx

Aigo hasn't been keeping many secrets about its Atom-based MID, but it has been slightly less than forthcoming with any official word of a price or release date. The company now looks to have finally gotten its act together, however, with it announcing that the handheld, now officially dubbed the MID P8860, will be going on sale in Hong Kong on August 8th for $5,228 HKD (or about $670 -- a full $100 less than the last price we heard). That'll get you an 800MHz Atom Z500 processor, along with 512MB of RAM, a 4GB SSD, built-in WiFi, Bluetooth and, perhaps most notably, GPS. We even hear you can run XP on it.

Welcome to this week's toys update. Check out the wonderful collectibles we just got in stock and all the new products made available for preorder.
As toys, especially collectible ones, are produced in limited numbers and are often sold out prior to the actual release date, we strongly recommend to preorder the figures of your desire as early as possible.
Decorate your darts, personalize them, let your friends and opponents know that it is you who threw the winning dart that ends up in the center spot of the board by installing unique flights at the tails.
The glamourously beautiful Trish is available on flights, pair her up with the Devil May Cry [Dante or Nero] darts and let her work her work her powers over you.
Trish's flights are chosen as this week's special and is sold at a bargain price of US$ 1.79 only and the maximum purchase is limited to 5 pieces per customer. As usually, this weekly special is valid for exactly 1 week (if not sold out earlier).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The third series of the Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu nendoroid figures are open for preorders this week. These trading figures bring out the adorable side of the characters while retaining their essence. Inspired by the rock band illustration and Day of Sagittarius episode in the anime, these figures are crafted in according outfits.
Aside from the 10 types as shown in the picture, the series comes with an unshown secret version. These trading figures are shipped randomly, and please order a box of 12 pieces to receive a factory sealed container.
Two cool, blue haired beauties are coming back as re-runs due to the immense popularity they enjoy. One of them is Ayanami Rei from Evangelion and the other is KOS-MOS from Xenosaga.
Ayanami Rei is usually featured as a taciturn young pilot due to her role and background in the hit anime, but as a member of the Creator's Labo series, her creator Mitsumasa Yoshizawa seeks to bring out a level of sex appeal from her.
KOS-MOS the android, like Rei is learning and acquiring emotions throughout the Xenosaga series. As the guardian of her creator Shion, KOS-MOS is featured with her full set of weapons. Although she is in a battle pose, instead of fierceness, her scuptor Yagyuu Toshiyuki portrays her imposing presence through elegance.
To those who has missed their chances of taking these two ladies home, get your acts together this time. Pre-order them at Play-Asia.com before they run out for the second time.
As for in stock items we have some figures you can play changing outfits with. Two Pinky Street figures are out with Sanrio mascot outfits. There is the cute pink My Melody version and the slightly gothic styled black Kuromi version.
Both of these figures come with two blouse parts, a large head wear and a cape. Let the figures cosplay as your favorite mascot by assembling these parts together.
Aside from clothings, these packages comes with accessories such as an umbrella and a My Melody doll for the pink package as for the black package, the figure comes with Kuromi and Baku mascots.
Since the connection sockets which you assemble the parts with are the same for both versions, you can mix and match the two's outfits and accessories to your liking and change them back whenever you want.
The only normal member of Haruhi Suzumiya's SOS club, Kyon is usually overshadowed by the impressive ladies who surrounds him. This time, in the figma action series, he is finally given a chance to bath in the spotlight.
The package comes with two of his famous expressions, his poker face and his tired, troubled look. Since he is always (forced) to film Haruhi's antics, being loyal to the series, his figure comes with a handy-cam attached to his extra right hand part.
The action figure allows you freedom to recreate any scene by installing numerous joints in Kyon's body and in case you have twisted him into one of the most precarious poses, there is a supporting crane you can attach to his back so he can even perform a jump with both feet off the base.
Pay attention to the scenes you want to recreate, change his indoor shoes for his brown ones when you want to portray one of the series many outdoor scenes.
The lists below show what has been released this week and what is available for preordering.

First, let me introduce myself very briefly. I'm a brazilian student who studies in a school that lets me use the psp to take note of the classes. So I've been using your homebrew PSPwrite for some time, and it's really great, way better than using a pen to write. However i kinda miss some functions like text wrap, diferent colors and font sizes in the same document and, mainly, the hability to add and see pictures (which I can get from my celphone's cam) on my work.
I know PSPwrite works only with plain text so only the text wrap funccion could be improved on it, but I have another idea on how to get those things.
I don't know if you know LINKS2 port for PSP, by Raf, but it's a great browser and it already works with the Danzel's keyboard input, so I was thinking if you could possibly make it work with IR keyboards like you do with other homebrews, this way I'd be able to acess all those functions AND also acess the internet very easily and quickly.
Also, for the text wrap function, i saw it exists in another homebrew: PSPoste. So maybe you could like borrow this code from it with the developers permission and implement it on PSPwrite (not sure that is possible, just trying to help).
Well that's it, hope you can help me out here
Thanks for your time and sorry for any english mistakes=]
btw, here is links2 download page : http://pspradio.sourceforge.net/phpB...forum.php?f=24
the project seens to be dead for some time...

Modders these days seem to be fascinated with putting the old school NES where it doesn't belong—like controllers and cartridges. At least those mods made sense in some way—I mean this version isn't even the official NES light gun. It's a Super Joy knockoff. Still, kudos to the modder for stuffing your big NES into a tiny cavity. We are all soooo impressed.

This one has been around the block a time or two, but considering you have absolutely nothing else to do on a Sunday, you might as well dust off that DIY kit and get to work. What you're looking at above is a genuine (albeit modified) NES controller playing a bona fide classic on a laptop. Amazingly, all of the software required for such a marvelously good time is stuffed tight within the controller itself. Take a step back and digest that -- your very own NES emulator (with ROMs), shoved inside a Nintendo Entertainment System controller. Does it get any more awesome than that?

Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 340 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.
Cool yourself down and listen to some light classical music to escape from the summer heat. Two elegant soundtracks that serve this purpose have been released, one of them is the orchestral remix of Gyakuten Saiban Tokubetsu Hout Orchestra Concert 2008 and the other is Ghibli the Best.
These two compilations contain a selection of the best loved themes from the respective game and animes and by using the orchestra, the producers of these two discs bring out a mature, classy flavour that appeals even to the slightly older generations.
To a lot of students, summer means graduation and this is certainly the case for Crystal Kay. While graduation means getting out of school, it also means parting with friends. With friendship as a central theme, the 11th Pokemon movie and its theme song, One [limited and standard editions] allows the young singer to portray her emotions to the most touching degree.
A lot of anime are coming out in the summer holidays and due to this, quite a number of interesting anime soundtracks came out. Aside from the works mentioned above, anime CDs like Bleach Beat Collection 4th Session 2 and Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea OST are also released.
For those who are addicted to Bemani games and are looking for ways to improve their techniques or reflexes, the Bemani Top Ranker Ketteisen 2008 DVD is a must buy. The final rounds to the Bemani Top Ranka games are recorded so be prepared to be dazzled by these veteran's moves.
More action are coming in Seven Swords, with Tsui Hark as the director and the kung fu star Donnie Yan featuring in the movie, this blockbuster will quench your thirst for stunning special effects and fast paced fights. Aside from Donnie Yan, many other famous stars in the Hong Kong entertainment industry are in this movie, so star spot while you enjoy the engaging plot.
Here's a summary of all new releases that were published between Saturday, July 12th and Friday, July 18th. If some specific item that you are looking for is missing, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service with your request.

Vic Viper the sleek fighter jet has starred in the numerous Gradius games and has made guest appearances in the hit anime Sky Girls. In 2084, the hope of the mankind lies on a new fighter, a secret military development. Vic Viper is equipped with laser-plasma guns and the fastest engine ever used in a space fighter.
This 1/60 scale model-kit is based on illustrations by Akitaka Mika, well-known for his skilled work in many series and games such as Gundam and Galaxy Fraulein Yuna.
With several option parts this model is a true collector's item and must have for all Gradius and Skygirl fans. This stylish, state of the art fighter plane is now sold at a bargain price of US$ 19.90 each and the maximum purchase is limited to 1 piece per customer. As usually, this weekly special is valid for exactly 1 week (if not sold out earlier).
Employ a ninja as your body guard, Sennin Haruka has not only time skipped from the past to the present, but leapt from the PC screen to the real world. As a ninja, she is ready to fight for you, the craftsman of Kotobukiya incorporated an element of movement into her pose, giving her an image of speed and flexibility.
Playinig along with the ninja idea, this figure of her comes with a special base shaped like a shuriken. She is now riding on her flying weapon, so be ready to recieve her.
Another ninja whose services we recommend is Suzume from Sengoku Lance. Unlike Haruka, she is an assasin and not a body guard. Rather than using physical weapons like shuriken or swords, her most lethal weapon is her innocent charm, it does not only disarm you, but you realized you cannot resist her.
Suzume's sculptor brings out her charm through modelling her hair and outfit loyally after her image in the game. Every bell on her kimono and gloves shines with a metalic light as her hair and the tails of the bow on her obi are lifted as if a breeze is really flowing around her.
ArtStorm's Lilics series is a collection of beauties, they may come from popular series like Chii from Clamp's Chobits, or famous illustrators' original artwork. Talking about famous illustrators, Yamashita Shunya is definitely one of them.
He has specifically designed Kanaru, a beauty from a futuristic world for the Lilic series. Kanaru is filled to the brim with Yamashita Shunya's individual style. Her outfit is desgned to suit an SF motif while her face portrays an open, friendly expression. Let her be your guide to both Yamashita Shunya's world and the Lilics series.
Some people have decided their occupation since they were children when others became what they are due to some great changes. Zoros the swordsman of the Makuwara group certainly belongs to the first category while Nami and her sister Nojiko belongs to the seond.
The CB series that branches out from the original POP series depicts the childhood image of One Piece characters. Although child Zoros looks largely the same as his adult form, his openly enthusiastic expression is still a refreshing change from his usual poker face.
Although Nami and Nojiko belongs to another category, the open expressions they wear are similar to Zoros'. The second volume of the CB series is now available for preorders while the figures: Luffy, Sanji and Robin are in stock. Begin your collection with the first series as you wait for the figures from the second.
Some exciting and popular products are arriving tomorrow and we simply can't wait to show you. The four Mario plushes featured as preorders in the Toys Update several months ago and a series of World of Warcraft figures will be joining us in our warehouse temporarily before they will, hopefully, join your collection at home.
In Mario Galaxy, with the power of the stars, Mario has transformed himself into several shapes to face different opponents. These forms are Super Mario, Fire Mario, Mario Bee and Obake (ghost) Mario. Although they are formidable in the game, as plushes they are perfectly friendly.
The soft toys are suitable companions for everyone. They soften the home and the office, and one of them is bound to go well with the color scheme of your furnishings, bringing a flash of trendiness and individuality to your personal space.
As opposed to Mario which makes use of more colorful and rounded images, World of Warcraft is darker with a stronger emphasis on realism. Figures from the second World of Warcraft series will arrive tomorrow with the Mario plushes.
This series features members from both the Alliance and the Horde, the large spectrum of races and jobs is a main attraction of the game and the sculptors of DC Comics have carefully crafted them down to the most minute details in their most representative battle poses.
The races featured in this series are: Dranei, Human, Troll, Gnome and Elf.
To promote their newest expansion package The Burning Crusade, Sideshow Collectibles and Blizzard is starting the diorama series. This very limited statue series is based on artwork that was released as a teaser to the game's expansion pack and this first figure features the ferocious battle between a Blood Elf Rogue and a Draenei Paladin.
Draneis and the blood elves are new races that only appears in The Burning Crusade, and as mentioned above, this 3D battle scene is a very limited release. Each of these statues are hand crafted and painted to the highest quality, and to show their exalted status, they bear an individual hand painted edition number at their bases.
Be a true connoiseur and start you diorama collection with this first Diorama statue.
Aside from the World of WarCraft statues, Blanka from Street Fighter is also coming on the same shipment tomorrow, so keep an eye out for him as well.
The lists below show what has been released this week and what is available for preordering.

Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 440 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.
Following the release of the sequel to the best selling "Tales of" game, Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk Original Soundtrack is published. This is a voluminous collection containing a total of four CDs with all music composed for this installment included.
The connection between this game and the first one is established through the continuing plot and the recurring characters. To emphasize this connection, musical themes for the old characters are remixed to fit their matured roles while new themes are composed for Emil and Marta, the two new protagonists.
Asian Kung Fu Generation is a popular band in Japan and many anime fans may already have heard of them for they have performed themes songs for hot series such as Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist.
This band has hosted the Nano Mugen 2008 event to promote rock music and this compilation consists of the works featured in this event. Scout out new favourites with this CD as it offers you a taste of sixteen bands in one disc.
This set of feature length movies retells Neon Genesis Evangelion, a highly acclaimed anime series from the late 1990s. Evangelion follows the misadventures of Ikari Shinji that eventually pushes him toward maturation and this first disc - Evangelion You're (not) Alone tells of the unfortunate incidents that begins to shape his life.
This is the reprint of the original limited edition of the Evangelion movie and will only be available for as long as stocks last.
Batman is one of the most popular comic titles in the world and Gotham city is one of the most decadent and glamourous cities. Batman Begins [Standard and Limited Gift Set edition] explore the beginnings of the dark knight, starting from the death of the protagonist's parents.
To give this superhero film more depth, the director focuses on the topic of fear and how the protagonist overcomes it through facing it. Aside from an in depth character analysis of the hero, the films' many action scenes and hi-tech gadgets will never leave you bored.

Finally we can toss out that old, boring Gemei X760 we've been fooling around with, and step up to some legitimate action. That's right, the X760+ is on the scene, and that + isn't just for show. The new iteration of the Chinese-made PMP / game playing device boasts 4GB of onboard storage, a 3-inch, WQVGA screen, a 400MHz CPU, FM tuner, and a TV output. The handheld is capable of playing MP3, WMA, APE, RM, MPEG, FLV, AVI, and VOB files (amongst others), but the main selling point here seems to be its built-in ability to emulate the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, as well as play "3D games." The price? 599 yuan (or about $87). Availability? Call an importer.

When their moms told them that they needed hobbies, collecting Nintendo Game & Watch machines was probably not what they had in mind. We're not about to judge Andy Cole or Michael Panayiotakis, two collectors who have all 60 Game & Watch handhelds ever produced. New in box. Untouched by human hands. So why did they do it? Because they could, we suppose. In an interview by DS Fanboy, the two Game & Watch collectors are deconstructed and investigated, revealing such nuggets as once spending $1,200 on a boxed Super Mario Bros. Special Edition, keeping their products out of the sun and air, and some advice on starting a collection of your own. Hit the read link to see the collectors in action.

The darkly themed RPG series Persona is becoming a well known franchise with all sorts of merchandises coming under it. To wrap up the plot of Persona 3, an anime is released as a sequel, airing in Japan from January to June this year.
Although the anime is coming to an end, the soundtrack has just been published to prolong the exquisite after-taste of the show. This CD includes not only the freshly composed tracks for the show, but remixes of themes from Persona 3 the game.
Aside from instrumentals, most of the vocals from the anime are featured in this CD, this includes the full length version of the ending theme "Found Me" by Kawamura Yumi. For fans of the series who are not currently resided in Japan, the anime and CD are both available to you through Play-Asia.com, please see this here for the full list of Persona - Trinity Soul products.
Let YUI's newest single Summer Song [limited and standard edition] bring in some brightness. YUI's songs are mostly soothing and encouraging, this time, the song is about the period before summer vacation. Like Persona - Trinity Soul, Summer Song is the sequel to its Spring counterpart Laugh Away.
Spring came to an end some time ago, let YUI fill your summer days with encouragement and gentleness.

Our first thought upon seeing this very cool hack was "that's awesome." Our second thought was "do you have to blow on it to make it work?"
BenHeck.com forum member "darkeru" created this inventive new take on a home made NES portable, which manages to squeeze all of the 8-bit dynamo's guts into a 4.1" by 5.5" space ... with a backlit LCD display. We just had a third thought: what happens when you connect it to this portable NES?
