Heres a new Atari 2600 release:
You can purchase RobsomeStudios‘ Atari 2600 game Baby for affordable 1US$ via itch.io. In the not so distant future aliens attack a game development studio and now there’s a war between the Game Devs and the Aliens. The gun fighting leaves the two sides in a constant stalemate. You play as Baby, the studio’s dog, and you have the only ability that gives the humans the edge: Baby’s cuteness. These aliens are completely averse to extreme levels of cuteness.

Heres some new translation news:
3 years since their last release, DvD Translations has released two translations on the same day:
The first is historically significant as it is the last RPG Square made before Final Fantasy. Although associated and credited with projects in the past, this is NintendoComplete’s first major translation with hacking by DvD and translation assistance by aishsha. The game supports 3 separate fonts which are user selectable at any time in the game by simply pressing Up or Down while holding down the Select button. Up independently cycles the menu fonts while Down cycles the body text fonts. If you get tired of looking at one font, you can always pick a different one!
The latter is the second game in the TwinBee shooter series. It was released in the US as Stinger, but Konami removed the simultaneous 3rd player support as there was no multi-tap available at the time for the NES. This translation restores that support by hacking the game to support the NES Satellite/4 Score along with a complete English title screen and explosion sprites, and the two missing screens of dialog which Konami removed. All hacking was done by DvD with a translation by aishsha.
More information on both games can be found at https://dvdtranslations.eludevisibility.org.

Some great News for Retro Gaming fans:
After several years in the making, the Atelier Traduction team has completed and released their English translation patch for Atelier Marie + Elie: The Alchemists of Salburg 1 & 2.
This game is the PlayStation 2 remaster for Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg, and Atelier Elie: The Alchemist of Salburg 2, which features remade graphics and improvements in the quality of the sound and game interface.
In addition to fully translating both of the games included in the remaster, the patch also fixes a multitude of bugs and incorrect event conditions, and it also brings back the original PSX attract videos for both games and the Extra Menu they each used to have.
This is a patch that shouldn’t be overlooked by fans of the Atelier series and Gust’s games.

Heres an awesome little rom translation update from Romhacking.net:
Hello everyone! This is a little update to one of our favorite 8-bit Konami titles, Getsu Fuuma Den. We were inspired to come up with our own translation by RPGe, who came up with their patch a long, long time ago. They did it quite well for the time, but we figured we could do our own take, with an expanded script, more space for dialogues, and some additional small improvements. Our hope was to familiarize more people with this Konami title. We hope you enjoy it!

Another release from Romhacking.net:
At first blush, our La Wares saga may not feel much like a love story in the spirit of Saint Valentine, but as “The Swami Sez” (Chris Berman), “That’s why they play the game!”
This Super Famicom game patch in English is the end result of a collaboration between translator Eien ni Hen and Bongo`. Once Bongo` built the tools, he intended to offer it to Red Soul for coordinating the finishing touches. However, around that time, Red Soul became inactive in D-D. Instead, Recca took on the task of smoothing out the first insertion of English text but promptly turned that effort into a Romanian patch for La Wares that we released in 2015.
Thereafter, Wildbill took on the coordination of La Wares - English, but he was in the midst of wrapping up other project work ahead of it, including a contribution to Chaos Seed and the finishing touches and release of Super Shell Monsters Story-I. Then, Wildbill departed D-D on an unexpected two-year hiatus, to attend to family matters. When he returned to duty in late 2017, he quickly helped get Princess Minerva and La Wares rolling again, and here we are with the release of the latter mentioned game, less than two months following the Christmas present of Princess Minerva.
La Wares is a turn-based RPG that is somewhat shorter in length than our usual fare. Still, the beta testers have reported it is a fun play. The game combines elements of mechanized fighting in the field with typical combat against monsters in dungeon settings. Naturally, the fates of kingdoms, queens, and princesses are at stake, and an unlikely hero emerges to conduct actions that may accomplish what whole armies fail to achieve.
Shouts-out go to Eien ni Hen, Bongo` Recca, Draken, Taskforce, Filler, and our four testers (MariusB, SylarDean, akualung, and Recca again) for propelling this work to a successful conclusion. This patch is dedicated to Red Soul. At this time, our La Wares - English patch is available in all offered formats. Please visit our download section or the respective project page to obtain patches for either La Wares - English or Romanian - and enjoy!

Some news from Romhacking.net:
On this day it’s been 19 years since AGTP first opened its doors on PCPages, and they have five releases to celebrate!
A couple of months ago Gideon was talking with TheMajinZenki and a few other folks about the English release of Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers, and thinking that it might be nice for folks to have a little context for some of the more esoteric pulls from Banpresto’s back catalog. They got it in our heads that it’d be a fun idea to do all five primary entries in Banpresto’s old The Great Battle series, giving people a glimpse into the history of Fighter Roar, Compatible Kaiser, Dark Brain, and the rest, and we figured that since they were relatively small games individually that it wouldn’t be all that tough to do. The job wasn’t without challenges, but it got done!
Further updates about the states of various projects will be posted to the AGTP website tomorrow.

Heres the news from Romhacking.net:
For those who may have missed it, Supper and and Filler have released an English language translation patch for City Adventure Touch: Mystery of Triangle. City Adventure Touch is an odd action adventure game by Compile, that somewhat perplexingly uses a license for the characters from the high school baseball manga “Touch”, by Mitsuru Adachi. The goal of the game is to save 10 puppies scattered throughout a town filled with aggressive creatures and objects. You do this by collecting various items, and fighting against enemies and bosses.
The game is somewhat unique in that it more closely resembles Western adventure games, or action RPGs, than it does traditional Japanese adventure games. While it’s somewhat frenetic and obtuse, Supper notes that it has some “ahead-of-its-time ideas”, and that it would have fared better with less sprawling areas, less obscure puzzles, and without the needless “Touch” license.
This project was completed in association with Psylax’s efforts in “Translations of early Famicom games“. The patch translates in-game text to English, and adds a splash screen.
