Puyo Puyo Sun is the third Puyo Puyo game in the series. The game was released in 1996 by Compile on the arcade and was later ported to several consoles and the PC. This is the English translation of the PC version. The translation is complete, however it has some minor elements untranslated (title screen appearance and several backgrounds).

Today, I present you with the 100% complete Japanese to English translation of the game “Cadillac”.
Cadillac is a puzzle card game featuring several women that try to take every last bit of money from you. The object of the game is to clear all of the cards at the end of the deck, which can be pretty tricky. During the game, you have cards that come down from the top and make their way to the bottom where you position them to make poker combinations, like three of a kind, 4 of a kind, 5 of a kind, flushes and straights. There are 10 levels to beat in this game. Your reward on a few levels is to see a full screen view of one of the women that host the game. This game is a one or two player game.
Steve Martin translated the scripts, so thanks to him!

Sung by Ayumi Hamasaki, the Madonna of Japan, the rock tune Rule in her newest single Rule/Sparkle contains an edgy, dangerous energy rather like the force of the movie characters themselves.
All spotlight on the fighters this week. Street Fighter IV the game gives you the satisfaction of pummelling your opponents into a pulp while its original soundtrack portrays this wonderful process through music. Android may be doing its best to exterminate Linux on the mobile platform, but a dedicated group of fans is doing its best to keep it alive and on the move. One of those is a G1 user by the handle ghostwalker who managed to get a full X-Windows environment running on his handset. Building on the already working Debian version for the G1, he installs LXDE (the Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) on top and then connects to that using the Android VNC viewer. The process sounds straightforward (as far as these things go) and is fully detailed at the read link, but as always don't blame us if you break your poor Android's shell -- and heart.

Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch has been foreclosed, and everything in it is being auctioned off. That includes the deposed King of Pop's rather massive arcade game collection. If you were wondering where all the arcades in the US went, now you know: Michael Jackson's house.
The collection includes somewhere in the area of one hundred video game machines, including store demo units of game consoles from the Genesis up to the Dreamcast, and dedicated arcade units including a Guitar Freaks unit, Sega's impressive R-360 machine and Galaxy Force II. In fact, the collection seems rather Sega-heavy, which is no surprise since Jackson was, himself, the star of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (whose arcade machine is not part of the auction!) and a guest star in Space Channel 5.
The only acknowledgment we'd like to make to the controversy surrounding Michael Jackson is this -- the fact that he is a ruined, disgraced pop star means that you can get a bunch of arcade games at rock bottom prices. As far as we're concerned, he sang Thriller, then he was in some video games, and then nothing else happened ever.

When a high ranking military man sensed that Elemental Dolls from the past are tempering with time and history to change the present, to protect humans and the military's power, he sent his men through the dimension gates.
Once again, the war starts for the Elemental Dolls, who needs to fight between the urge to change their fates and their inherent purpose, to aid humans.
The music will take you to the battlefield itself. From the instant you board your fighter craft to the point you beat the final boss. Feel the determination that washes over you as you listen to the battle themes from the Do Don Pachi Original Soundtrack.

Japan's toy manufacturers are on a mission: take every real world object, recreate it in plastic, but smaller, then sell it to Japanese consumers. Next to be plasticized and shrunk: deluxe Sega arcade cabinets.
Classic, deluxe Sega arcade cabinets, that is; the kind one blew extra quarters on for that realistic, sit-down experience. Toy maker Organic is bringing tiny versions of Thunder Blade, Space Harrier, Out Run, Hang On and, secretly After Burner to collector shelves this Spring.
They're about four-inches in length, if you need to plan your mini-arcade dioramas in advance or whip up a custom Ryo Hazuki to the proper scale. Check your local importer for pre-order details.

In 1990, Atari (the original Atari) were in bad shape. So they sold off their inventory of old cartridges. O'Shea Ltd bought them. All 3 million of them.
They bought them so they could sell them on to you, the public. And where do they keep these millions of Atari cartridges? Why, in a 20,000-square warehouse carved from a limestone cave, of course.

We just stopped by TechnoSource's booth at the Toy Fair to check out its just-announced Rubik's TouchCube, a fully touch-sensitive update on the old classic Rubik's Cube. The new model boasts a few features the old one did not (besides the lights and touchscreen), namely undo and hint options if you get stumped. Each of its six sides are touch-sensitive, and the cube's got an internal accelerometer so that it only recognizes the touching going on on the top side of the cube. It also remembers your place even if you turn it off -- great for those of us who will likely spend years trying to solve it just once. The Rubik's TouchCube is going to hit shelves this fall for $149.99.

After almost yearly installments for nine years Nintendo and primary developer Hudson are giving the Mario Party series a break. Who knows when Mario Party 9 will come out.
In the meantime Capcom is making good use of their Mario Party license. At AOU 2009 their arcade/amusement machine department is displaying Mario Party Fushigi no Korokoro Catcher. The machine is like an arcade version of Mario Party that makes use of medals or tokens for play. What makes this Mario Party medal game different from Capcom’s two other Mario Party medal games? This one has some kind of UFO catcher/crane game element. A Mario Party game with tangible trinkets? Sounds neat!
