I paused my porting projects and desided to work on a portable map viewer for PSP (code name MapThis!)
Here is a shot from a current (very buggy version):
The application will allow to:
- scroll though 3100x2500 pix map, covering ~ 52sq mi area with city level details.
- zoomout (currently very buggy)
- access area's attractions info (currently just restaurants) with name/address/phone
- mapping to gps coordinates, allowing the posibility of external gps feed
- one map with attrcations data takes ~ 1Mb of space on MS
-application will come with a linux/cygwin script to generate map tiles and data from public sources for given address. The script can be wraped in to a cgi wrapper and therefore turned in to a web service.
Please contact me if you want to lend a USB based GPS mouse for my experiments or want to work on the gps communication part (I want to create a USB driver, so it can be plugged in w/o soldering)

ok updated my sourcecode on site

added doublebuffering support and fixed some errors that prevent it working with r19 using the new arm-eabi-gcc.
unfortunetly now doublebuffering is on all the time and it uses 1mb of system memory.
in video/nds/SDL_ndsvideo.c NDS_SetVideoMode function this enabled the doublebuffering
change to
to disable doublebuffering and recompile the lib.
if someone has a fix to this let me know. I thought that the NDS_AllocHWSurface(...) would be called and i used to have the malloc defined in there but for a couple of SDL ports they were never calling that function so i moved it into the NDS_SetVideoMode function.
Also a lot of work need to be done to allocated VRAM better, right now 8bit video uses a mode6 1024X512 background
and 16bit video uses mode5 515X512 background. So if you using a smaller screen it shouldnt need to allocate so much VRAM and the doublebuffering memory could be moved into VRAM instead of main ram.

Hi All,
Here is a new version of PSPMSX the MSX series Emulator for PSP (with minor but usefull changes).
What's new in version 1.0.5 :
- Option to eject the rom
- Disk change doesn't reboot anymore the MSX
(usefull to play games with multiple disks)
- Sound improvement
Special thanks to Paul Bosselaar for his help on sound issue, his advices and usefull feedback.
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.

Here is a new version of PSPInt the Intellivision Emulator for PSP.
What's new in version 1.0.4 :
- Second joystick support
- Add keys to the virtual keyboard
- Option to toggle between players
Auto racing works now on this emulator !
Save state feature is still missing, i've spent hours on it, but without any success
(very unstable, it freeze your PSP one time over two ...).
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,

Hi All,
Atari800 is an emulator for the 800, 800XL, 130XE and 5200 models of the Atari personal computer.
It can be used on console, FrameBuffer or X11.
See http://atari800.sourceforge.net/ for further informations.
PSPATARI is a port on PSP of the version 2.0.2 (April 08 2006) of Atari800 from Petr Stehlik.
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
It's a first beta release and many work still remain such as sound support, change hardware type,
resize screen etc ...
Inside the emulator you can only run Atari 800 ROMS. Nevetheless, you can change hardware type
using the original emulator menu (Atari800 Menu) and then change the hardware type, and load
the rom you want .
Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license, read COPYING.txt file
for more information about it.

Hi All,
Jzintv is an emulator of the Intellivision videogame system
running on many systems such as Linux, Unix, Windows and MacOS.
See official Jzintv site for further informations.
I've sucessfully modified, and port the source code of the Linux version 20051204 of Jzintv.
It's now working fine on PSP !
It has been developped on linux for Firmware 2.5 using the great GTA eloader (0.97)
from http://www.fanjita.org/, but it should work properly on other firmwares.
I've included a 1.5FW binary version (kxploit).
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
It's the first release and the last (only if major bugs are found).
Sources are included, and this package is under the GNU public license,
read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.
