This guy is just out of control. After taking a brief break to work on his own independent film, Ben Heckendorn is back to his old hardware hacking ways, this time cramming a portable NES system into form factor barely larger than the cartridges it plays. Titled the "nPod," his new creation has a 3.5-inch screen, runs on four AA batteries, and is based on one of those "NES on a chip" joysticks. It's obviously about as small as a unit can be and still manage those beastly plastic game carts, but we're sure Ben will find another way to display his leet hacking skills before too long.

Hi All,
BeebEm is a famous emulator of the BBC Micro computer series running on both windows and unix. (see beebem )
Originally developed for UNIX systems in 1994 by David Alan Gilbert, it was then ported to windows by Richard Gellman and Mike Wyatt in 1997. At the start of October 2005, David Eggleston started porting the current Windows version of BeebEm (version 2.3) to FreeBSD.
I've sucessfully modified, and port the source code of the 0.0.4 version from Dave Eggleston using PSPSDK environment. It's now working fine on PSP !
It has been developped on linux for Firmware 2.5 using the great GTA eloader (0.97), but it should work properly on other firmwares.I've integrated a 1.5FW binary version (kxploit).
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
It's a first beta release and work still remain ...
Sources are included, and this package is under "Beebem" licence, read COPYING.txt file for more information about it.
PS: Special thanks to Danzel and Jeff Chen for their virtual keyboard, and to all PSPSDK developpers.
Enjoy,
Zx.

Hi All,
Here is a new version of portable VNC working with all firmwares (but not 2.7 )
What's new in this version 1.2.1 :
+ Modify wifi connection handler to work on 1.5FW
+ Check wifi switch on startup
** Many thanks to KingPSP to help me to test it on 1.5FW ! **
Thanks also to Yoyofr, Bigal90 and DeMoN X for their help.
My contribution on this app is minor (only code rewritting to fit new interface of PSPSDK, and copy/paste wifi code from psp-ftpd). I just wanted it to work on my PSP 2.5.
Portable VNC is distributed under GNU licence, and sources are provided with the archive.
Hope that helps,
Cheers, Zx.

My contribution on this app is minor (only code rewritting to fit new interface of PSPSDK,

I just wanted it to work on my PSP 2.5.
I've not tested it with 2.6, but it should work properly.

New Product from Success HK
The Fujifilm FinePix V10 features 5.1 megapixel resolution, 3.4x optical zoom, and a beautiful extra large 3-in. (230,000 pixels resolution) LCD screen. It is housed in a stylish and fashionable square body with an attractive gun-metal finish with chrome accents.
It allows you to use a high sensitivity as high as ISO 1600 for low-light indoor pictures. It shoots VGA movies at 30fps with monaural sound. And if you've ever wondered whether your picture would come out better with or without the use of flash, the Fujifilm V10 has a unique "Natural Light & with Flash" mode that takes 2 shots at once: one with flash and one without flash, to allow on-the-spot comparison of which picture comes out best in low-light situations.
Fujifilm claims a shutter lag speed (after AF/AE lock) of 0.01 second and start-up of 1.5 second. The FinePix V10 comes with a rechargeable NP-40 battery. PictBridge?technology allows you to print directly to any PictBridge-compatible printer without going through a PC.
The Fujifilm V10 even entertains you while you are waiting for the right photo opportunities. You can play four arcade games on the large 3-in. LCD screen: Picture Puzzle, Maze, Break-out and Space Wars.

" LCD monitor: This monitor is big enough to make all your images come alive, with convenient touch-screen operation of camera functions, as well as thumbnail image viewing for searching and editing photos. 8.1-megapixel Super HAD?CCD: The Sony Cyber-shot?DSC-N1 digital camera delivers stunning pictures with 8.1-megapixel resolution. The advanced 1/1.8" Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise.
Zoom: The Carl Zeiss?3x optical zoom helps bring distant subjects closer and lets you frame shots for better composition. The precision 6x digital zoom lets you enlarge image areas without jagged edges.
Free Spot AF: In addition to normal autofocus mode, you can focus on a subject by just touching it on the LCD monitor—a fast and simple way to adjust focus for complex scenes or moving subjects.

Large 2.0”LCD Screen
The DSC-W30 has a bright 2.0?LCD screen for setting up and viewing images -- with a one touch ?Play?button that makes it quick and easy to view your photos.
Simple Controls, Function Guide
User-friendly controls and simple on-screen Function Guide text/icon display help you set up camera functions -- and you?ll have greater creative freedom to adjust color mode (including “Natural?for subtle colors and “Rich?for more intense colors), sensitivity, brightness and image size.
High Sensitivity Mode
A new High Sensitivity Mode (ISO 1000) allows you to shoot with great results in low-light conditions -- and Sony’s original Clear RAW NR?(Noise Reduction) image processing technology helps suppress the color noise that can accompany high-sensitivity shooting.
Carl Zeiss?3X Optical/2X Digital Zoom/6X Total Zoom
3X Optical Zoom helps the DSC-W30 bring distant subjects closer and lets you frame shots for better composition; Sony’s precision 2X Digital Zoom provides an additional 2X magnification to zoom in close without jagged edges.

New Product from Success HK
6-megapixel Super HAD?CCD: Enjoy greater detail when you make large prints and post photos on the Internet. The advanced CCD design allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise.
2.5" LCD screen: The DSC-W50 has a bright 2.5" LCD screen for setting up and viewing images. A one-touch “Play?button makes it quick and easy to view your photos.
Zoom: Get close to the action with the Carl Zeiss?3x optical zoom lens. The precision 2x digital zoom lets you zoom in further without creating jagged edges.
Smart Zoom? The smart zoom feature lets you magnify your subject beyond the 3x optical zoom to 4.1x (3-megapixel), 5.2x (2-megapixel), even 13x (VGA). By cropping into the central portion of the scene, it avoids the image distortion of other digital zooms.
Capture MPEG movies: Take home movies with 640 x 480 VGA resolution at up to 30 frames per second. Go ahead and shoot away—the length of your audio/video clips is limited only by the capacity of your media card.
Stamina?battery power: With its powerful lithium ion rechargeable battery, the DSC-W50 can capture up to 390 images—enough for a week of shooting. A compact battery charger is also supplied for battery recharging on the go.

New Product from Success HK
7.2 Megapixel super HAD?CCD: The Super HAD (Hole Accumulation Diode) CCD provides excellent image quality by allowing more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise.
3x optical/2x digital/6x total zoom: The 3x optical zoom helps you fill the frame with your subject for better pictures. And Sony’s precision digital zoom helps bring your subject closer with an extra 2x magnification.
14x Smart Zoom?(at VGA resolution): The Smart Zoom feature intelligently uses the full CCD to let you zoom into the portion of interest by cropping the image size—thus avoiding the image degradation of Digital Zooms.
Image stabilization: Super SteadyShot?optical image stabilization fights motion blur, even during longer exposures at full zoom.
Real Imaging Processor?technology: The innovative Real Imaging Processor in the DSC-T30 not only improves picture quality and clarity but also improves camera response time, decreases shutter lag and improves battery stamina.
3" LCD monitor: The 3" LCD monitor makes framing shots and reviewing pictures easy, even in sunny settings.
MPEG movie mode:The DSC-T30 can capture VGA (640 x 480) movie clips with sound at high frame rates (up to 30 frames per second). The only limitations on the length of your movies are set by the capacity of your media.

Hi All,
Here is a new version of PSPCAP32 the CPC Emulator for PSP.
I cross finger, it should be my last release. I won't work anymore on this emulator, only for bug fix.
What's new in version 1.0.7 :
- CPC/PSP Keyboard mapping Editor using the virtual keyboard.
(You can now load, edit and save your .kbd file inside the emulator).
- The name of the current game is now displayed in the emulator menu
(this name is used as filename for all saved data such as keyboard file or quick save snapshots).
- Bug fix in z80 emulator visible in batman game (couldn't enter in some rooms)
- Bug fix in virtual keyboard, several keys such as Copy or Capslock weren't taken into account.
How to use it ?
Have a look to the README.txt file !
Two binary versions (for 2.x and 1.5 FW) and sources are included in the zip archive.
This package is under GPL Copyright, read COPYING file for more information about it.
Enjoy,
Zx.
edit: LDaneels has updated is kbd pack archive
