A bunch of bugs fixed:
Controls:
in-game directionals are re-linked to D-PAD (a lot of you requested this one)
If you like the analog pad, use the previous version.
[X] FIRE/SELECT
[R.TRIGGER] JUMP
[START] PAUSE/MENU
You can re-assign the last 3 by changing the values
in ./supertux/config file:
(joystick-a 5)
(joystick-b 2)
(joystick-start 11)
PSP Button codes are:
0 Triangle
1 Circle
2 Cross
3 Square
4 Left trigger
5 Right trigger
6 Down
7 Left
8 Up
9 Right
10 Select
11 Start
12 Home
13 Hold
You can transfer your "saves" from the previous version:
just copy the contents of ./supertux/save directory
You can skip the intros/credits screens now by hitting the [FIRE]
Although the level editor is not completely functional yet, you can now do some basics like deleting objects/saving screens, etc.
If you want to create your own levels, stick to PC/Linux/MacOS verions for now.
BTW, the game is easily modable: you can change all the graphics/music/level logic w/o any programming knowledge.
So I hope to see some mods soon ;-)
Please let me know if the new version works for 2.0 firmware...
Enjoy,
DENIS

This DS library implementation the Linux ROMFS file system for reading a pre-made boot romdisk.
To create a romdisk image, you will need the program "genromfs". This program was designed for Linux but can compile under Cygwin.", included is a prebuilt mingw windows binary.
This was derived/ported from KOS 1.3.x from the Dreamcast KallistiOS .
included is a simple FS test which demonstrates reading a couple of files from the romdisk, and then it displays the directory structure.
for more information about using the filesystem checkout the fs.h file for the proper api calls, which are all very similiar to standard stdio calls.
Also include is some stdio newlib stubs that call the kosFS for better stdio support but so far I havent figure out how to port those into the existing devkitpro / libnds configuration.

This is a PSP port of Dodgin' Diamond 2, (http://usebox.net/jjm/dd2/) little shot'em up arcade game for one or two players.
It aims to be an 'old school' game with low resolution (320x200) graphics, top-down scroll action,
energy based gameplay and different weapons with several levels of power.
Attached below
If the link does not work, try to paste the URL in to the browser window...
Current version, which took me ~40 min to port, is still in early beta stage.
USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK AS I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES I MAY CAUSE TO YOU OR YOUE PSP.
Main features:
- 2 levels of game play with different enemies, power ups and bosses
- tracker/vorbis soundtrack support: original xm music is provided. You can play custom ogg files by putting them in ./data directory as bgm1.ogg & bgm2.ogg
- fully modable game play: all sprites defined in data/gfx.bmp; enemy attack patterns are in data/game.act; sounds and bg music are also defined in data directory.
- 2 player support
- source code included
INSTALLATION:
1.5 users: copy everything from 1.5 folder in to /PSP/GAMES directory
1.0 user: get the EBOOT.PBP from the 1.0 folder. Don't forget to copy data folder (from 1.5/dd2 directory) to the same directory as the executable.
2.0 users: try using 1.5 firmware version EBOOTs with EBOOT LOADER 8.5 - I have report that it's working fine.
CONTROLS:
Player1:
DIRECTIONS/MENU NAVIGAITON PSP JOYSTICK
FIRE/MENU SELECT [X]
PAUSE/BACK [O]
SNAPSHOT [SQUARE]
Player2:
DIRECTIONS ARROW BUTTONS

Get it here
NEW IN V0.8
- ogg vorbis support: original soundtracks by Kenta Cho provided for stages 1-5 and 3 ENDLESS modes
- tracker music support (s3m, xm, mod) is still in place (tracker music is provided for stages 6-10)
- custom ogg, s3m,xm,mod music support: replace existing stg00.*,stg0.*-stg9.* files in sounds directory with your favorite music (there are plenty of mp3/wav/atrac --> ogg converion tools available on the net).
- minor code optimizations.
Note, that ogg decoding requires more CPU cycles. So you may want to keep tracker music for late & action packed stages of the game to make the things run faster.
You can reset the High Scores by deleting the noiz2sa.prf...
You can still customize almost all other aspects of the gameplay or chose the "classic" settings - just read the atatched documentation.
Enjoy,
DENIS
PS: It appears that there is another port of NOIZ2SA development taking place at snv.ps2dev.org. This, more straight forward, port approach is based on the most recent versions of SDK, SDL as well as other recent PSP libraries. While it is still not as fast & polished as this version of the game, it definitely worth keeping an eye on.
