Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 230 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.
The fifth and newest Naruto movie, Naruto Shippuden Kizuna will be showed throughout Japan tomorrow, for all fans this must be exciting news. While those who are currently residing in Japan can go to their favourite cinema and join in the fun, those living outside Japan can still participate through Play-Asia.com.
The soundtrack of Kizuna is out, so you can prepare yourself for the impact of the movie by listening to the blend of hard rock and traditional Japanese music. Ikkitousen is a modern retelling of a Chinese classic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Its innovation lies in the fact that all warriors are substituted by pretty girls and instead of grounding the series's charm in its portrayal of military strategy, the series contain an ample amount of fan service.
The opening and ending theme to the series No x Limit has arrived as standard and CD+DVD limited versions. The songs are upbeat and energetic, complimenting the feel of the anime.
After introducing anime music, let's move on to the game soundtracks. Subarashiki Kono Sekai / The World Ends With You have released another soundtrack. This compilation is released by for fans as the songs contained in this CD are selected according to the favorite music polls on Square Enix's website.
Namie Amuro has also published her newest album Best Fiction [standard & CD+DVD standard edition]. The CD itself shows prove of how the hit singer is still an established chart topper and trendsetting throughout a decade of hardship in her personal and professional life.
The limited version of Best Fiction comes with a DVD with music video clips of the seventeen songs Namie Amuro did on the CD, through this DVD, you will understand that not only is she a good singer, but a good dancer as well.
