Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 180 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.

Square Enix and the staff behind Final Fantasy never fail to remind gamers, music fans and the general public that the RPG series is indeed in a class of its own. After rendering the game's BGM for the orchestra and holding concerts in Europe in 2005, Distant Worlds is released under the direction of Nobuo Uematsu.

Conducted by Arnie Roth and performed by the Stockholm Philarharmonic, this album contains all famous themes from the first game to the eleventh installment. The music is freshened up with a new hint of elegance which brings a new flavor to the fan's ears.

Moving on from the classic, we get to the techno. Moving into the future where cyborgs rule the world side by side with humans, its up to both parties to stop the crimes that happen in the postmodern city.

Produced by Mamoru Ishii, Ghost in the Shell 2 Innocence is a showcase of cutting edge computer graphics, special effects and philosophical concepts. English dubbed for audiences worldwide, the Blu-ray disc version contains a UK English dub option for those who prefer to listen to British accented English.
