A new online arcade FPS by Taito was announced quite recently, called CyberDiver it appears to be functionally pretty varied despite the forcibly standardised genre constraints often prevalent in FPS games. From transforming mecha to schoolgirls wielding katanas, it's definitely not your average approach to take. It also has a suitably vibrant art style that a few have thought to be pretty Outtrigger-esque. There are a few nice screenshots here and here. No word on a release date as yet but there has been a location test already undertaken. There's more on the developer blog and an in-game movie on the official site if you're curious.
